    Hi,

    I tried to install child theme today because I want to install Google Tag Manager. However, when I install the theme, it says it can’t find the X theme as the parent theme, which is weird because I have the X theme activated.

    Could you let me know how I can solve this?

    Looks like you haven’t install X theme correctly. Please ask your web host to provide you with FTP credentials.

    Also don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Hi There,

    You had your theme on

    wp-content/themes/x-package/x

    I corrected to:

    wp-content/themes/x

    It now says that the x theme is not correctly installed and that it reverted back to the default theme…
    So it went from a minor problem to a major problem. It also says that the x theme is not validated anymore, and when i try to validate it, it gives an error
