    Good afternoon,

    I have a question relating to child themes, I have not built my site on a child theme but on the main theme. I am a bit concerned about this after reading some source info that I shouldve made a child theme and worked off that because I’m a bit worried when the theme updates that my site will be affected and not look right.

    Is it possible to make a child theme and then import what I’ve done into that? So that when the parent updates it’s still all good.

    Can you let us know which files you have edited in the main theme?

    Good Afternoon,

    I have not edited any files in the main theme I dont think, I have only added a few lines of customm css and maybe a line of Javascript, Would that cause an issue when updating?

    Hi There,

    Your custom CSS & JS under Customizer will be safe when you update the theme.
