DavidParticipantI only have x theme installed, not woocommerce. I have my permalinks set to “post name”. I have made a page titled Products with the permalink ascentboards.com/products/. I then created child page “test” and the permalink was filled in with ascentboards.com/products/test/. That pages goes 404. If I were to change the permalink of the Products page to ascentboards.com/productss/, everything works. (it even works when I make Products into ascentboards.com/product/.) This leads me to guess that there might be an issue with the name “products”. Is that the case?
Thanks

RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in.
Yes, it’s weird, I don’t see any name collision. This is my first time seeing an issue like this.
For the meantime, would you mind upgrading your PHP to 5.6 or greater? You can contact your hosting provider for that. Envira Gallery add-ons are throwing a fatal error since your PHP is older than 5.3.
Let’s start from that.
Thanks!

DavidParticipantThanks for the response. Were you able to replicate the issue? Did you try anything nifty to fix the error? I’ve read some posts that mentioned clearing the cashe by dropping something in functions.php of x theme.
Also, on the php side the things, I have attached a photo of my options for different versions. Which should I pick?
Thank you so much for all the help. X theme is great. I’m very glad I purchased it.
Thanks
David

DavidParticipantOk, I think I am on to something. When I go to edit the page named “Products” from cornerstone, the title of the page becomes “Portfolio | Ascent Streetboards,” so wordpress thinks this is some portfolio post even though I’m editing it through pages. I also, don’t have the ability to use cornerstone to edit, so it must be some sort of hidden post. Is there a way to find where I have a post or portfolio post called products and delete it? I’ve looked in posts and portfolio and found nothing.

DavidParticipantBut, if I delete the cornerstone=1, http://www.ascentboards.com/products/
?cornerstone=1, it goes back to being a page. You can see in this attachment, wordpress now displays it as a page. I have attached the webpage http://www.ascentboards.com/products/So I think the problem is with cornerstone. Does cornerstone query a database that I need to clean up? Or maybe something like $wp_rewrite->flush_rules?
Thanks so much
David

RadModeratorHi there,
Ah, I think I got it now. It’s because your portfolio slug is changed to products, the same slug with your Products page.
Please go to Admin > Appearance > Customizer > Portfolio and change Custom URL Slug to something else other than products. Then go to Admin > Settings > Permalinks and re-save it, that should flush your permalinks.
Then check your products page again.
Thanks!

DavidParticipantThat absolutely did it! Thank you so much! You guys are amazing! I wish I remember that I changed that Portfolio slug. Thank you so so much! If anyone ever asks about a wordpress theme, I’m going to tell them how amazing X is and the support!
Another happy customer.
