I contacted the gateway plugin author who directed me to install the most recent update (it did not notify me through WordPress). After that, “All is well!” Imagine that! Thanks to all who attempted to help me solve this problem.

Again, I couldn’t be more satisfied with the X theme! I will definitely buy another.
