FrocreateParticipantHi all, I’ve completed my first site with CS and am preparing for launch this week. I’ve read some forum posts about users having trouble migrating and/or launching sites that use CS and I want to make sure I go about things in the best way to avoid any possible issues.
I am hosting my new site (the one I’d like to launch) on a subdomain and do not intend to migrate the WP site. Instead, I will continue hosting the site and direct the current domain toward the new site, my subdomain where I’ve developed the site.
What I’m most concerned with is changing all of the links and image URLs on the site and losing the ability to continue editing with CS once I change the DNS. What would you recommend I do to avoid any issues, downtime or loss of functionality in preparation of the change?
Thanks so much for your help!

FrocreateParticipantWell it wasn’t actually a migration per-se….
However, with the help of my hosting provider, I was able to sort it out and things look ok now. I used Velvet Blues to update the site links and images but a handful of items would not update for me and Im hoping you can explain.
Many of the blockgrid items that contained images did not update, the background patterns in most of my sections did not update, the header logo and so on. It seems maybe this is related to the CSS file?
Lastly, I cannot get the button for “Read More” in the testimonial area of the home page to center (Im posting this here since the issue arose from changing URLs). Any thoughts?

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Dev site URL doesn’t work anymore, please check it.
Please provide us with URL of pages in question so we can compare them.
Thanks.
