    Hi,

    I have a similar issue like scrutinized in #144495. I want to change the “read more” text to “Mehr…”. I tried what you suggested there and copied and pasted the first code provided into the funtions.php below the child theme folder on the server. However, it didn’t work.

    Unfortunately, this is only the first part of a row of language issues. I thought this on would be the easiest problem to solve. Since it seems not – at least for me, let me go further: I would like to change the search function’s language to German. Also I would like to change the text showing on a password secured page.

    Hi Daniel,

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials
