I have white spaces in my black background.

So far I have added this code. Note I have a picture that has been blacked out for some reason

Have removed the code above.

Just want to change everything that has a white background on it to a very dark grey

OK it is Disabled now.

Everything has gone black, except the line with the breadcrumbs.

Not sure which part you want to change, would you mind sharing a screenshot of which part you want to change background.

Meanwhile, if your mean to change the section background color in your homepage, you can change the background using the section background color. Check attached.
