I am using Renew Stack, and the setting is full width 🙂
April 1, 2014 at 4:34 pm #28768Hi Alvin,
For the Renew Stack, you’ll need to add some Custom CSS. You can do this from Customizer > Custom > CSS in your dashboard.
For an overview of how this works, and what CSS rules to use, take a look at this article:

You can do that on the visual composer. Insert the content band element then apply a background image. Inside, add a column that is set to two thirds. Add the contents inside the two thirds column.
Cheers!
April 3, 2014 at 8:34 am #29483Thank you, your reply really helped me a lot, so how I can set it so when I scroll down, the content band background does not move?
Thank you again!
April 4, 2014 at 8:27 am #29858Hi Alvin,
Take a look at the video here: http://theme.co/x/member/kb/shortcode-walkthrough-content-band/
Around (6:35) he starts talking about the background image. Once you have the background image applied, you can enable “Parallax” which is mentioned around (7:35) This will stop the background from moving with the content. There will be subtle movement, but it will mostly stay in one place.
