Hi,
After two days not logging in to edit my site, I can no longer get through the captcha which I get asked before logging in. I’ve tried probably 25 times at this point so I’m sure I’ve gotten it right, but every time I get the message “It looks like the code you’ve entered is incorrect. Please try again.”
The most recent plugin I installed was contact forms 7, and I’ve deleted that folder, but the problem remains.
I think all my wordpress / Xtheme versions are up to date, but I can’t log in to be sure.
My site is http://www.leaveatrace.co, and I log in at http://www.leaveatrace.co/wp-login.php.
Is there any way for me to simply turn off the captcha authorization?
Thanks very much.
February 16, 2016 at 4:34 am #797814Hey there,
X doesn’t have admin access restrictions. It sounds like you might be having an issue with a third party plugin or script. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.
Thank you for your understanding.
February 16, 2016 at 12:27 pm #798437Thanks! I wasn’t sure whether it was something with X or with my hosting package. My hosting provider got it sorted out.
February 16, 2016 at 10:51 pm #799227Glad to hear it’s working for you now! 🙂
I assume you had installed a 3rd party plugin for log-in captcha as X doesn’t provide any captcha integration for WordPress log-in page.
Thank you!
