spakpoyParticipantHi,
I’ve just reassigned one of my licences to a test version of my site, but I can’t work out how to reassign the API key. Would love some help.
thanks,

RupokMemberHi Susan,
Thanks for writing in! Would you clarify what you are facing to assign the license? You can just click on “Assign Site” from your Themeco account to assign the license to a site – http://prntscr.com/atsou2
Hope this makes sense.
Cheers!

spakpoyParticipantHi,
Yes I’ve done that part fine. I installed my original version of X (version 3) theme to the new site but when I go into the X add ons menu it wants an API key…
I’d like to update the version of X and set up automatic updates, I believe I need an API key for that
Thanks

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
That is because we have changed the validation process with the latest releases of X and you’re using an old version. Now the best thing is to update your theme & plugins manually (https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/update-cornerstone-manually/) and then you can setup automatic updates for future releases by validating your theme.
Please review our updated knowledge base article to know more information about the new process of validating your X license (https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/).
Hope that helps.
