    I updated to most recent release of X and cannot upload svgs into my media library.
    I did this on my staging site and left my production site as it was with an older version.

    The production site version still easily uploads svgs (via svg plugin) so I can only assume that something has happened by updating the new theme???

    This is the message I receive in WP when I try to upload svg as described…

    ““Banner1.svg” has failed to upload.
    Unable to create directory uploads/2017/03. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”
