    Hello guys,
    I updated wordpress and X-theme and a plugin “Cornerstone” which said I should delete the plugin “X-Shortcodes”.
    Now I have two problems. First the Promo Code disappeared – you can drag out the photos, when you click on the right place, but you see nothing. Second I can’t update the WPBakery Visual Composer and if I click download new version, I should pay 33 bucks? Why?

    I hope you can help me, I write the password in a hidden post.

    Hello There,

    Thanks for posting in! You do not have to buy VC. It is already bundled in the theme. To update it, simply deactivate VC and delete it completely in the plugins section. After the removal of VC, please go to X Addons > Extensions to install the latest VC bundled in your updated version of X(4.0)

    Ooooh boy … I deleted VC and then all was gone. No VC in X Addons > Extensions? (4.0)
    But I found the VC bundle Version 4.5.2 for download in www for free .. uploaded the zip and now it works again *puuuh*
    Why isn’t the VC bundle in my X Addons > Extensions section?

    thx for the topic about the promo shortcode – not the best solution to remove the fade, but it’s ok.
    One good thing – Cornerstone looks great, and the work runs smoother. if i have some time, i will rebuild the pages.

    As always, thanks for the help. I’ll never be disappointed.

    Hey There,

    We are slowly phasing out Visual Composer since we think strongly that new customers should use Cornerstone, that’s why we do not provide it anymore in the extensions section, you still can use it by downloading it manually and we will continue to support it for several months and make sure that it always will work to the extend that it won’t break. I recommend reading through our changelog where we explain the whole situation in detail. Let me know if you need anything else.
