    When I try to update WordPress to 4.4.2, the update page just goes blank (the side menu remains there) and nothing happens. How can I update my website? I remember I had a similar issue when I was trying to update to 4.4.1 and eventually I managed to do it but I can’t remember at all how I did it.

    OK, I’ve disabled one of my plugins, W3 Total Cache, and tried again, this time successfully. Problem resolved.
