All I want is a no border content band with a headline and then and image on the left and the text and two buttons on the right. I can’t seem to get it to work. Help please. This is all on my home page right beneath the wife author mother columns

Thanks for writing in! Let’s create a separate Row for this and set the column layout properly. You can use either “1/2 and 1/” or “2/3 and 1/3” layout – http://prntscr.com/e3uwj7
Then place the image in one column and the content in other.

Sort of. I haven’t really used cornerstone at all because every time I go in to edit a page with it, none of the previous elements are there and I have to start from scratch. I really don’t want to remake every page I have from scratch so I haven’t used cornerstone at all. How do I get all the old elements to go into cornerstone?
That said, I might be able to figure it out if cornerstone took in all the old stuff

Thanks for posting in!
You have to create a new page and build the page in Cornerstone to look like your old page (built with VC). All your old pages built with VC will just work fine. You can have both Cornerstone and VC in your installation. You will still be able to install and use VC within X using either our customized version optimized for X or the plain vanilla version – the option to pick being as usual in the X Integration Tab of VC. We will keep it updated and patched (no 6 month period, indefinitely) just keep in mind elements that we have added to Cornerstone will not be able to be added as those elements were made for Cornerstone specifically.
Additionally, it’s always recommended to stay updated with all the plugins and other updates as they come with some bug fixes.

That’s doesn’t make sense to me. Sorry. So I have to rebuild my home page from scratch in cornerstone? Any new pages or posts should be done through it as well or what?
So I used cornerstone to make a new homepage (2 hours of work later) WHY can’t it import from VC????
And there’s a ton of space everywhere. How do I reduce the white space between sections? Plus how do I put buttons next to each other in a column?
