Hi, I uploaded an image via my wordpress admin panel by going to Media -> Add new, then going to Media – Library, selecting the image and copying the image URL. I inserted this URL into my home page in the bg-image section like this:
[vc_row inner_container=”true” no_margin=”true” padding_top=”10%” padding_bottom=”10%” bg_color=”#ffffff” bg_image=”http://buddhacentric.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/5397136286_d0c8d3577c_o.jpg” parallax=”true”]
[vc_column width=”1/2″]However, the image does not display on my homepage – only the bg color of white as listed above. Even when I delete this section, the background image is white and not the background image I specified. I attempted to make the background color transparent by customizing the CSS in the customizer, but the background is still white and the image no where to be found. I’m using the x-child-integrity-light theme – does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get my image to display properly. It should be straight forward but for some reason is not.
Thanks!
October 20, 2014 at 5:49 pm #128853Hi there,
You can either upload your image or add a link to the image to the Background Image(s) section. If you want more customizations, you can add your own CSS rules through the Customizer, Custom > CSS section using the menu Appearance -> Customize.
Thanks

However, is there a way to get multiple background images on the homepage without having a slideshow activated?
I’m trying to get multiple images for each container (each colored section of the integrity-7 homepage theme). However, when I use the Background Image(s) section of the page editor, it starts a slideshow.
I don’t want a slideshow, I just want multiple static images. However, when I attempt to change the html bg-image=”http://buddhacentric.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/12609985904_f1e7e0dc4e_o.jpg”, again, nothing is ‘found’ and no image shows up – just the main background image that I uploaded via the Background Image(s) section.

I’m not really sure about your issue,
You can simply set different image for each content band by adding more content band with different background image.
Like the integrity 7 demo, it has 5 content band with different images for each band,
You can checkout content band video walk through and sample on these links below,

Have a great day
