    Hey there,

    I want to validate a new site, however I can’t generate new API keys (the whole section in my admin panel on themeco is missing).

    Any ideas?

    Hi There,

    Thanks for posting in. Please do check our changelor for X 4.4.0 here:https://theme.co/changelog/#theme-4-4-0

    The code is verified in your Themeco account, and assigned to your site. This is already setup for all your existing sites via the old API key method, and will continue working.

    Hi Lely,

    thanks for your answer, but that does not really help. I can’t update the theme (4.3.1) because I can’t validate it – and I can’t use the new validation because I can’t update the theme? Manually uploading the theme does not work either since the folder can’t be overwritten.

    Any ideas?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for updating the thread! The best way to do it right now is to do it manually. If it is not possible to overwrite it, perhaps you need to change folder permissions. If you are not familiar on how to change this you may need to check with your hosting provider. You can also try deleting the theme and then installing the latest copy. Just make sure to create a backup in case anything goes wrong or so you can have a reference dev site if any customization you made needs to be updated or adjusted.

    If you still get issues, please provide us with login credentials so we can take a closer look. To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Please also provide us the license key for this site, so we can do some tests. Thanks!
