Hi,
When I try to edit my “Forums” page with Cornerstone, it loads the complete page with none of the editing tools.
Also, the page (a BBPress page) is not displaying properly (http://totaltsupport.com/wpwebsite/index.php/forums/?cornerstone=1)
I would like to be able to change the font sizes, etc., but can’t find any options to do so.
I’ve loaded the page with standard templates so believe it must be a X Theme/Cornerstone issue.
If it is not possible to change the look of the BBPress forums with the stack I am using (Integrity), can you tell me which stack would be better? I am in the early stages of design, so I’d like to get this resolved before putting in a lot more time.
My login credentials follow this post.
Thanks!

I can’t see any difference in my settings between the two sites. I’ve deactivated all plug-ins but the forum page on totaltsupport.com will not display properly.
I cannot edit the forum page on sigmastatus.com with Cornerstone either.
I’ve figured out how to change fonts and colors but there are elements on the page that I need to be able to edit outside of the main Customizer (like the small menu items: Forum, Topics, Posts, etc) because they are too small. Can’t find any place to edit those.
Hope this additional info helps.
January 27, 2017 at 1:53 pm #1348144Hi There,
Greetings! Thank you for contacting us 🙂
Please refer to the knowledge base https://community.theme.co/kb/cornerstone-setup/ to set up corner stone and also see instructions from https://community.theme.co/kb/cornerstone-how-to-get-to-the-editor/ to activate the corner stone plugin into the editor.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks
January 27, 2017 at 4:46 pm #1348277I don’t think you really read my post. I’ve done all you’ve mentioned above previously and nothing is amiss.
I go from this page (see image #1: http://www.mbalexander.com/sigmastatus.com/EditWithCornerstone.png) to supposedly edit with Cornerstone.
The problem is the page comes up but there is no left-hand edit menu when I’m trying to edit the “Forums” page. (see image #2: http://www.mbalexander.com/sigmastatus.com/TTSupportForumList.png)
Also, the BBpress forum page is not self-generating correctly (see image #2 above).
On a second site where all the settings are the same (SigmaStatus.com) there is also no Cornerstone edit menu but the BBpress page self-generates correctly (see image #3: http://www.mbalexander.com/sigmastatus.com/SigmaForumListing.png)
As a secondary but attached issue, I cannot find a place to edit the tiny forum font (see image #3 above).
I’ve read in another post that the lack of the Cornerstone menu may be a problem connected to BBpress — but it’s a plug-in included with X, so how is that possible? That post was dated in early Jan of this year.
I really need to get this resolved because the forums are the major part of this site. I’ve loved X and that’s why I bought the 2nd license but can’t understand how the two sites are seeing different output even with the same settings.
Hope this clears things up and that I can get a real answer, not a link to a general instruction piece that I’ve already read multiple times. Believe me, I’ve searched the forums and knowledgebase extensively already.
Thanks!
January 27, 2017 at 4:48 pm #1348279PS If this is a BBpress issue, what forum plug-in are you using for this forum? I need to find one that works with X and assumed BBpress would be the most compatible, since it’s included.
January 28, 2017 at 3:29 am #1348700Hi there,
Archive pages like Forum index page are not really editable in the cornerstone. And you don’t have to create a Forums page, bBPress automatically display the forum index page when the URL requested is equal to /forums/
And you can find the URL slugs used in bBpress in Admin > Settings > Forums, they are slugs and not actual pages.
But you’re correct, forums index page isn’t displaying the actual forum page, instead, it displays the excerpt. Would you mind providing your FTP login credentials as well?
Thanks!

Is there any special procedure connecting through FTP. I can’t connect to your FTP, does it has firewall blocking me?
Thanks!

January 31, 2017 at 10:13 am #1352405Something is majorly broken. I just tried to deactivate BBpress and got a 500: Internal Error : Website unavailable. I’ve waited to see if that would correct itself and it will not.
Now I can’t even uninstall BBpress.
???????
January 31, 2017 at 2:22 pm #1352721You can close this topic — I can’t wait any longer for a response. I’ll just reinstall WordPress and X theme and start over.
January 31, 2017 at 11:14 pm #1353210Okay, Please let us know how it goes. Thanks
