gretarParticipantHello
I have a big problem with some of my websites, attached is a screenshot that shows what the problem is when trying to edit a page. The visual composer is nowhere to be seen. Switching to classic mode works but there must be some kind of a javascript error that is the issue here.

ThaiModeratorHi There,
Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
If it doesn’t help, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link login to your site
– WordPress Admin username / Password
– FTP AccountDon’t forget to select Set as a private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
Thanks.

HenrikFParticipantHi gretar, it’s not a plugin conflict. Lots of people are reporting the same after the update to 4.5 (including myself). I have no idea why it’s still considered a “plugin conflict”. Visual Composer has an update waiting but it’s still not available for us X users. Visual Composer is a integrated part of the theme and therefore we need to wait for Themeco to make the update available to us.
PS. Thai: Please correct me if I’m wrong.

AlexanderKeymasterHey there,
Visual Composer released a fix for this problem. Version 4.11.2 is now available via automatic updates. You’ll need to update X to 4.4.2 first.
