Hey,
I’m worried. When I want to create a new blog post or change the existing gallery or anything in the Visual Composer it doesn’t work smooth anymore. At first I thought, it’s only one existing buggy gallery bit but now I have the same issues, when I want to create new content:
Can’t switch between visual/text, buttons don’t react, containers don’t show up, unable to copy/paste stuff into containers, they don’t show, everything is extremely buggy.
Page is here: https://www.bell.de/
I’m using WordPress 4.7.3, XVersion: 4.6.4 and Chrome. Cornerstone Version is 1.3.3.I hope this was not too confusing.
Best,
Chris.

Thank you for providing the credentials. You’ve added a CSS code in Appearance > Customize > Custom > Edit Global Javascript which is breaking the JavaScript in your site. Please remove the following code from your JavaScript Customizer:
a.entry-thumb:hover img { opacity: 0.5; }
Let us know how this gors!
March 17, 2017 at 1:14 am #1410717Thank you for your help. Found the code and removed it. Unfortunately I’m still unable to create new posts w Visual Composer. Is there more Java that needs to be removed? There certainly is more.
March 17, 2017 at 9:38 am #1411051Hi Christian,
Try to clear browser cache. I am able to create a posts. See this:http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbeb2z6k2L
March 18, 2017 at 6:19 am #1412041Cleared the cache. I’m sorry, it still doesn’t work.
When I want to post something new, there are three options in the upper right corner. See Screenshot: “Text”, “Visuell”, “Cornerstone”. The default setting for a draft seems to be “Text” now, which it never was. When I switch to “Visuell”, I cannot do anything. It’s then just an empty white box, no cursor there, nothing. When I go back to “Text” an again back to “Visuell”, everything is gone.
What am I missing? I hope it’s not too confusing. I’m desperate.
Thank you for your help.
March 18, 2017 at 6:24 am #1412044Tried the Backend Editor. New draft. Where it says “Enter Your Text” I can’t enter anything. Can’t switch between modes Visuell/Text, nothing works. See screenshot.
Best,
Chris.

When I click on your link and I go to the text container you created I cannot type anything in it, it’s buggy and disappears when I click back and fort between “Visuell” and “Text”.
This happens in Chrome AND Firefox. I’ll have to look into the “internal caching” issue you mentioned. How can it work for you but not for me, this is really frustrating.
Thank you for your advice, I hope I will be able to figure it out with the caching. Otherwise I’m really lost here, this is a serious problem then.
March 19, 2017 at 3:04 am #1412559Does it definitely work when you switch to “Visuell”? It seems to somewhat work under “Text” although buggy but never under “Visuell” mode.
March 19, 2017 at 7:34 pm #1413037Hi Christian,
See this:http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbeYcU6pLQ
Yes, I am able to edit in Visual Editor too:http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbeYcy6pLTCan you try to right click and then select inspect element > Console Tab > see if there are any errors?
March 21, 2017 at 4:38 am #1414710Hey,
quick update: It didn’t work from home but here in the office using another PC it works. Strange.
Thank you for your patience and all the help.
Best,
Chris.
March 21, 2017 at 9:53 am #1415005Try removing all your browser extensions. Since this works on our end, we could not investigate further.
Thanks.
