Hi There,
If you add opacity to a white layer in front of a white background you won´t be able to see any difference.
I am not 100% sure what is the desired effect you are looking for, but if you give a color to your section background you will see how your opacity is working.
Let us know more details in order that we can help.
Thanks
Joao
November 27, 2016 at 4:26 pm #1272439I am having the same issue. I have tried loading a BG Pattern and a BG image and then removing them. This is still not working. I just want a solid color for my background, but it is defaulting to a background that has the text “1500 x 750” in it – see screenshot. I am getting very frustrated. Please help.
November 27, 2016 at 4:35 pm #1272452FIXED!
I just figured out the problem. I had the Background Pattern turned “ON” in certain sections/rows, that is why my custom color wasn’t showing up. In Cornerstone customizer, I had to select each section (row) where the background was wrong, then in the Cornerstone editor, click on the “none” option under the “Background Type”.November 27, 2016 at 7:33 pm #1272629Hello There,
We are just glad that you have figured it out a way to correct the said issue.

What do you mean by cornerstone won’t let you do it? Please provide the screenshot again, or a video recording of the said issue.
Thanks!
