Hi Guys,
I have been using X Theme on http://tsony.com for over a year, but have not updated it since v4.1.1. It is currently hosted on Siteground.
I have just started to use Flywheel and have migrated http://tsony.com to their servers, but have not yet pointed the domain there.
That URL is http://high-drain.flywheelsites.comI have also just set up a staging site on Flywheel to do my updates.
That URL is http://staging.high-drain.flywheelsites.comOnce I have updated the staging version, I will push those changes to the migrated version, then I will point the domain from Siteground to Flywheel. Then http://high-drain.flywheelsites.com will become http://tsony.com.
Hope that makes sense so far.
So, I am trying to validate X Theme on the staging site but it will not work. I have read your support article several times at https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/ and did my best to follow it by using the URL in Settings > General Settings > Site URL. I am using my purchase code as instructed. I have successfully re-validated the production site at http://tsony.com but validating the development site at http://staging.high-drain.flywheelsites.com continues to fail with the error “This site URL is not a match for your API key.”
Can you help me resolve this?
UPDATE:
I decided to ditch the staging and just work with the migrated site and use that as production. I can then revert to a saved backup if I have problems. However, validation still fails with the same error when I try to validate http://high-drain.flywheelsites.com, which is the migrated site as described above.
So I still need help. 🙂

The way x validates products has changed from x v4.4.0, it doesn’t work with API key anymore. Please see : https://theme.co/changelog/#theme-4-4-0
Since you’re using old version, please follow this link https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins and update theme and plugins manually using FTP
Next follow this link https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation and validate your product.
