HI there,
It seems the X Theme is not yet compatable with Buddypress’s new “Cover photo” for Buddypress users or groups.
When I create a new group, it goes through all the steps, but gives me a “are you sure you want to do this” error on the “Cover Image” section of the setup.
When I inspect element on the buddypress group after selecting “manage” and “cover photo” I see there is a large empty space where the upload section should be:
Here’s the screenshot of the section I’m referring to:

I would really appreciate any assistance with this.

Thanks for writing in!
Please make sure you are on BuddyPress version 2.4.0 as it’s the latest supported version with X as of now as per our Changelog.
Thank you!
February 10, 2016 at 8:14 pm #790088I just bought this theme and I am running into the same issue. All the versions are latest (WP, buddypress and X).

February 11, 2016 at 11:02 pm #792328The site is not public, I was testing this locally. Besides, why would I give out the admin credentials of a public site? This is not the way to troubleshoot client issues.
February 12, 2016 at 6:42 am #792805Hi Sahina,
Thanks for writing back!
We ask for user credentials (only when needed) so we can investigate the issue in their site. However, I can confirm buddypress cover image upload is a known issue and has already been passed to our development team for further investigation and the fix in our future releases.
Thanks for understanding.
February 19, 2016 at 9:34 am #803380Hi Themeco,
I am trying to upload a BuddyPress cover photo to my user profile. I am able to upload a profile photo but not a cover photo. There is an option to do so but when I click on it nothing happens.
I have the most recent versions of wordpress, buddypress and X-Theme (Integrity).
Many thanks
February 19, 2016 at 9:37 am #803389Sorry! I just read the above message about the awaiting fix in a future release.
Thanks!

April 11, 2016 at 1:40 pm #876962Hello! Is there any estimation on when Cover Images for BuddyPress Groups may be implemented? I see the option for Cover Image upload, but when I click it shows no form to upload the image.
April 12, 2016 at 1:34 am #877734We’re sorry but could not give a timeline yet. We appreciate your patience.
Thanks.
May 4, 2016 at 9:29 am #912544Hi, yhere should made a solution for this or remove the option to upload a cover photo. I’m implementing buddypress at a client with X theme and client is asking why it’s not working 🙂
I installed the latest version of X theme and the supported Buddypress version.

May 10, 2016 at 8:59 pm #985179Ditto. Seems like a long time to not have a feature fixed. First post was back in January… Hope this is remedied soon.
