Hi,
I have a full screen Revolution Slider (ver.4.3.3) on my home page.
I have tested it on iphone and ipad and noticed that swiping is not possible over the slides. When the slider fills the entire screen I get stuck, cannot move/scroll. I have tried changing slider settings under Touch section but It did not help.I have another question ; In the portfolio page, what are the settings for the slider and how to change them.
Thanks.
April 8, 2014 at 3:09 pm #31270Hi Mustafa,
Are you also using the latest version of X Theme? Can you provide a link to your site, so we can see what might be happening here?
For your portfolio, you’ll need to create a page and assign it the “Layout – Portfolio” template. Then you can assign a slider from the ‘Slider Settings – Above (or below) Masthead’ sections.

Thanks for the information. I’ve taken a look at your site in iOS Safari and I can confirm this. I’m sorry you’re having this issue.
Can you double check your slider settings, and ensure that “Touch enabled” is still turned on? When you view the settings, does it show on or off? After changing it, did you click “Save settings”?
I just tried this on my test site, and it’s working ok.
If that settings doesn’t help, can you try testing for a plugin conflict? It’s possible another script is interfering. You can do this test by temporarily deactivating all other plugins to see if it makes a difference.
April 9, 2014 at 3:46 pm #31737Hi,
Very interesting, Touch Enabled = Off has solved the problem.
Now it is possible to scroll the page with swiping. But I have lost ability to swipe to next/previous slide.Thanks.
April 9, 2014 at 8:35 pm #31835Hi there!
I’m really sorry as this is one of the few limitations when using the revolution slider. We’ll try to investigate further and hopefully rev slider community can patch it up on the next update. For the meantime, you can use the next and previous arrows and the bullet navigation to control the sliders.
Thank you for your understanding.

May 4, 2014 at 5:08 pm #40453Great to hear that Chirila! But I guess, permanent solution is still better. We will keep you posted if we find out something.
Cheers!
May 16, 2014 at 4:30 am #45068I have tried touch enabled both on and off and it will NOT work on my iPhone 5 or iPad mini. This is a real issue as I’m working on a clients site and encountering a full page slider on any mobile device instantly renders the site unusable.
Is there a solution to this yet? I need one fast, deadline approaching!!!
May 16, 2014 at 9:37 pm #45301Hi Paul,
If you set your slider as fullscreen, it will appear as fullscreen even on mobile. But, you could control your slider or layer visibility of your slide like this http://awesomescreenshot.com/0d22tijg16 and http://awesomescreenshot.com/09b2tijl39
Hope this helps.

In that case please create a new thread so we could investigate it further. And in that thread, please provide your admin login credentials in private reply so we could check it diretcly.
Thanks.
October 9, 2015 at 9:44 pm #619025never mind I rebuilt the slider in a different theme that didn’t have those problems.
