    Hi.
    I am trying to validate X on my site http://www.rachaelmaddox.com

    I have inputed my purchase code and linked the site. It is still requesting an API key which is not shown in the licenses section. I read other forum questions that has said the process has changed, but am still unable to validate.

    Can you please help me with this ASAP.

    Hi There,

    At this time you will need to perform a manual update.

    It is reccomended that you backup your site considering you are a few versions behind if your X is asking for an API.

    Download the latest version of X from Themeco Dashboard.

    Access your site via FTP and remove X from wp-content/themes and upload the new version.

    Also go to wp-content/plugins and remove Cornerstone and/or x-shortcodes plugin.

    Access : https://community.theme.co/my-account/ remove and re-assign your site.

    Go back to wordpress dashboard > Addons and place your purchase code to validate it.

    I currently don’t have access to my site via FTP as someone else handles this. Also – i can;t seem to find the download of the most recent version of X in the dashboard (i had a friend login as well and she couldn’t find the link either).

    I tried to download from themeforest but the page crashed several times in a row.

    Are you able to help with this please.

    There is no link to download on that page the way their normally is – at least not that i can see.

    I also just tried to import the demo content for church and that wont’ work either.

    It would be amazing if you can help quickly – i now can’t seem to delete andy of the blocks of demo content so have had to put up an under construction link.

    Hi there,

    You’re still using old version of x and plugins. Please follow this link https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins and update theme manually via FTP.

    Then follow this link to validate your product : https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation

    I don’t actually know how to do the FTP update. Can i just upload the new version of X?

    I don’t understand why this is quite so complicated. are you able to assist?

    Hi There,

    It should not be complicated but I am a bit confused about what is the challenge you are facing on the process.

    You can use your rachaelmaddox.com/cpanel -> login use the file manager

    access wp-content/themes

    remove X and upload the new version.

    If you face issues doing it, please provide your Cpanel credentials, the ftp crednetals provided did not work.

    Hi There,

    I also did not see X There,

    Not sure if you have renamed it.

    I install it x on wp-content/themes

    Please go to WP Dashboard Themes select X than go to Addons and validate your theme.

    Hope it helps

    If it does not work, please provide your wp admin credentials

    X is already active and just gives me the same options for validating as before, and i don’t see a new version of x under themes
