I have added woo commerce to x but I accidently used cornerstone to edit/open the cart options. Now the cart tab won’t open at all
April 13, 2016 at 3:32 am #879591I might have that wrong. I can get into the page but I think the black background in obscuring everything in the cart.
Can you help write a code to have items in woo commerce show up on the black background. Or how to stop the black background appearing in Woo commerce.

Thanks for writing in!
Please make sure you have set your cart page as cart in woocommerce settings.

Thanks for providing the login credentials. You have edited the cart page in Cornerstone and the default WooCommerce cart shortcode went missing. You can layout your cart page in Cornerstone however, you must always place
[woocommerce_cart]
shortcode with your cart page.Hope this helps.
April 14, 2016 at 3:40 am #881767I dont understand. I have tried to add items to the shop page and edit them in cornerstone and I dont know how to add shortcode when using cornerstone
April 14, 2016 at 8:16 am #882178Hi there,
You can add the shortcode using a Text element in Cornerstone (see: http://prntscr.com/as59zi).
Thank you!
April 14, 2016 at 9:29 am #882318That’s great! I think I know what to do now. But what’s going on with the shop page?
I have entered some demo products but they don’t come up when I open the page and that writing is too small and not clear on a black background.
Is there something I need to do to get a page full of products to display?

First of all, make sure that you’re fully updated including Theme and Plugins.
You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.
If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.
Let us know.
Thanks!April 17, 2016 at 4:46 am #886606Ok, all up to date but still can’t get anything to show up in the shop.
Can you take a look same log in as above
April 17, 2016 at 7:34 pm #887276Hello There,
Editing the shop page in Cornerstone is tricky. You need to unassign the page as the shop page in WooCommerce settings, WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display tab. Then you edit it in Cornerstone. You can add any sections and elements on the shop page. Please keep in mind that after adding all your sections in Cornerstone, you can not change the product grid columns because this is dynamically generated by WooCommerce. After you are satisfied with your changes, saved it and go back to WooCommerce settings and assign the page as your shop again.
By the way, your shop page is working fine. It may seem nothing is being displayed because all your products doesn’t have a featured image. Please do edit each of your product and add a featured image.
Hope this help.
April 18, 2016 at 11:15 pm #889241I have gone to the page (WooCommerce settings, WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display tab) I have unassigned the page, but when I go back to the shop page to edit it just opens the page and not Cornerstone.
April 19, 2016 at 6:40 am #889847Hi there,
I created a new page called ‘shop-page’ and assign it as shop page and cleared cache to apply the changes. Now you can edit your page in cornerstone.
Thanks.
