    Can you advise when Slider Revolution and Visual Composer will be updated to the latest versions?

    Hi There,

    Thank you for posting in.
    Please check the following links:

    X will not always include the latest version of the Visual Composer plugin with the theme. The bundled version of Visual Composer with X is intentional and will be updated when we find it prudent to do so.

    We do our best to ensure that the version of Revolution Slider included with X is as up-to-date as possible; however, this might not always be the case based on the reasons listed in the “Bundled Version” section above, which includes stability, release cycles, and the fact that not all updates are necessary.

    We will let you know once we have an update to this. Unfortunately, we can’t promise ETA as of this moment.

    The VC I can deal with, and I understand the reasoning even if I don’t really agree with it.

    Regarding Slider Revolution. X is in my experience the slowest commercial theme I have ever used in terms of updating their bundled plugins.

    So tell me this then please. Can I install my own licenced version of Slider Revolution, or have you mangled the code integration of this plugin also?

    Ok, ignore the last question about Revolution. I read the info in the link, which is a small grace at least.

    Doesn’t change the fact that X lags terribly in offering users the latest versions of the bundled plugins, so I hope the latest update will be included sooner rather than later. It has some very nice new features.

    Hello Again,

    Sorry for keeping you waiting for the updates. It should be out soon. It will be due once we roll out our update release for both X and Cornerstone plugins. We do not have an exact date yet. For sure it will be out in a few days. We are already in our final stage prepping up for the release. Please bear with us.
