Hi!
I’m trying to create a call to action box. But the settings changes when I save it sometimes.
For example: I have set the button text and color, normal size and no icon on the button. And all of a sudden, the button is full width and has the default icon on it. Very annoying. I have not changed the button settings at all, but after I have saved the page in WP and click on edit for the call to action box, the settings for the button has changed to “Full width: Yes” and “Add icon: Yes”. It seems like the settings are reset to default, random times.
I have tries to change things on one tab, for example the icon tab, save and close, open the edit mode again, change things on another tab, for example the button tab, save and close. After that, saving the page and update the page. The reset does not happen every time, but all of a sudden the button, CSS animations or icon settings are changed.
What’s wrong?

Thanks for writing in! It sounds unusual and shouldn’t happen something like this. Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

Right now it looks the way I want it, but it took several tries and I had to go back and change again and again. Like I wrote, it does not happen every time the page is saved, kind of randomly.
You are free to make changes in the settings for the icon, button, CSS animations, save the page etc. a few times and see if you can recreate the problem.
March 28, 2016 at 9:31 pm #855966Hey there,
I have not experienced any issue with the Call to Action element after several page updates. Please also take note though, that the Call to Action element is part of Visual Composer’s native shortcodes.
X does not support Visual Composer’s native shortcodes for the reasons listed in the “Included Shortcodes” section above, which includes code bloat, performance, and duplicate content. However, you can turn Visual Composer’s native shortcodes back on as mentioned previously.
For more details, please see https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-visual-composer/
Thank you for understanding.
March 29, 2016 at 5:32 am #856535Hi!
Ok, thanks for your answer. I have no idea what went wrong yesterday when I worked with the Call to action box. But it looks the way I want it now so I’ll just leave it like that.
How do I know which elements are part of Visual Composer’s native shortcodes?
/Markus
March 29, 2016 at 6:56 am #856682Hi Markus,
The shortcodes listed under “Shortcodes” menu dropdown here: http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/shortcodes/ are the ones X adds and any other shortcode is a part of Visual Composer native shortcodes.
Thank you!
