fyxiParticipantHello,
I am trying to get a modal popup to launch from a button. The current page is here http://fyxi.it/turnerlovell/ and the button says ‘register now’.
The modal plugin is called ‘Popup Maker’ and their guide suggests adding the following CSS class to the button: popmake-117, to activate the form. I haven’t been able to get this to work, however. Can you please tell me how to implement this either through the button or with a raw code element?
Here is Popup Maker’s own guide on how to implement the button: https://wppopupmaker.com/docs/getting-started/opening-a-popup/
Thanks!

ZeshanMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in!
It sounds like you might be having an issue with a third party plugin or script. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.
Meanwhile, you can try using the class popmake-237 under Class field of Button element settings (see: http://prntscr.com/7qeolc).
Thank you for your understanding.

fyxiParticipantHello again,
I didn’t realise that I could accomplish this via ConvertPlug. I have since setup the a Gravity form on Convertplug, then created a CSS class name that I have entered in both ConvertPlug and in the button’s CSS Class field, following this guide: https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-convertplug/
The problem is that when I click the button it opens the modal briefly and then the web page changes to a 403 error with /undefined/ in the address bar. I assumed this was because it was looking for something in the HREF field. Thus I have tried both leaving it blank and adding a hash symbol but neither work.
I also considered whether it was because I hadn’t defined the CSS class in a stylesheet so I added the class name with open and closed braces in the custom CSS section in Customiser. That didn’t work either.
Any ideas?

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating. It seems the anchor is set to http://fyxi.it/ that’s causing the issue. Kindly follow the documentation to setup this correctly.

fyxiParticipantHello,
Thanks for responding. With the HREF field left completely blank, it still shows as http://fyxi.it/turnerlovell/# in the live site. Still not sure why.
Thanks!

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for the credentials but there is no point of giving a non-admin account access as I can’t see anything on the dashboard or can’t access plugin settings. Kindly update the account to admin account as asked on previous reply.
Cheers!

Unfortunately the problem still persists. :'(

JackKeymasterHi there,
Thanks for writing back.
I’ve taken a look and I believe it’s PrettyLoader causing the issue, on click PrettyLoader appears to try and load for some reason, I would think it believes that a page is being loaded when it isn’t. Can you try disabling that please and see if it functions correctly then?
Thanks!
April 21, 2016 at 10:57 am #893900
fyxiParticipantExcellent! It seems it was the ‘smooth page transitions’ feature of Prettyloader that was causing the conflict. It all works happily now.
/thanks
