Go to X add-ons> Email forms> Edit a form already there. When you set “custom styling” to yes, it eliminates all of the custom styling options, then you have to change it to no to see them. Here’s a reproduction video: http://screencast.com/t/g1twitc6135Y
My website is boostsalesconsulting.com. Thanks for your help!
April 5, 2016 at 12:22 am #867103Hey there,
I’ve tested the MailChimp extension on my test site and this does not happen. Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
Thanks.

Please contact your host provider and ask them for FTP credentials.
Thanks.

That confuses me a little bit. I’m not really sure if it’s referring to the styling option comes under it. Or custom styling through CSS that can be added through customizer.
That means turning on Custom CSS should remove the option.
But really confusing, I’ll just forward this for clarification.
Thanks!
April 7, 2016 at 5:27 am #870906Hi there,
Thanks for your patience on this.
Regarding the update that isn’t working, this is because automatic updates are only available with a license of ConvertPlug, when we next make a X update, the latest version will be available, until then, updating that add-on can only be done with a valid license of ConvertPlug.
With the custom styling issue that definitely is odd, after testing and debugging the code, there’s no reason why that should be happening, after saving it as No and then updating the form, it appears to have rectified itself, if you check now, when selecting “Yes” it will show the additional options” and when selecting “No” it will hide the additional options.
Hope this helps.
Thanks!
April 7, 2016 at 4:13 pm #871900RE: the update, are you saying I don’t have a valid convert plug license? Is that separate from me owning x Theme? Is that going to cause me any problems outside of the update always showing?
RE: Mail chimp forms, I wouldn’t say this fixed itself. Take a look at this screenshot. I changed custom styling to “yes”, updated it, and now this is what I’m seeing: http://screencast.com/t/hprLiFVXp
Thanks for your help!
April 8, 2016 at 5:41 am #872613Hi there,
#1: Regarding the update, your license of ConvertPlug is valid as long as you use it with the X theme. The ConvertPlug plugin is bundled with the theme. Plugins that are bundled cannot be updated directly from the plugin source. We update bundled plugins with the theme releases. But it is not every time because we take the time to test for X compatibility. That said, if you are seeing ConvertPlug update notification, you can ignore that.
#2: Regarding Mailchimp form, yes, I can see the issue on your site. I can also replicate it in my local setup that when the “Custom Styling” radio is checked to “Yes” and saved, it will not show the custom styling sections. I’ll forward this issue to our developers for further investigation.
Thank you!
