    I just updated to 4.0.7 and I have the error message below. I’m running WordPress core 4.3. What causes this and how do I fix it?

    Broken Themes

    The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

    Name Description
    x_package Stylesheet is missing. Delete

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Seems like you have tried to upload x-package file, x.zip file is the right file that should be uploaded.

    I don’t understand. I got only one file when I bought the theme and that’s what I uploaded. After that all I did was click the upgrade button.

    Are you saying I have the wrong file? If so how do I get the correct file?

    But what then is the purpose/intended usage of the file I received when I purchased:

    themeforest-5871901-x-the-theme.zip

    Hi Brian,

    There are two options in themeforest to download

    All Files & Documentation and Installable WordPress File Only

    All Files & Documentation has added files and documentation while Installable WordPress File only contains the xtheme

    Hope that makes sense

    Hi there,

    Yes, you will only have to use x.zip file which contains the theme files to install X.
