Hi and thanks in advance for your patience.

The issue is that both the website and the wp admin are blank pages.

The website is http://www.jimfitzpatrick.com hosted by bluehost, running wordpress, x-theme 4.6.4 and woocommerce.
I updated everything in November and have done nothing since then.

I’ve been onto Bluehost and they said that the error is with the x-theme so here I am.

This is the Error log that bluehost said was the problem but I’ve no idea what it means:

home2/jimfitz1/public_html/wp-content/themes/x/functions/admin-init.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home2/jimfitz1/public_html/wp-content/themes/mystile/functions.php on line 17

I’m no programmer so this is beyond me.

Any help will be much appreciated.
I did go through the forum and help topics but couldn’t find a solution.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! First of all, try deleting this theme mystile that is interfering your site (“wp-content/themes/mystile/”).

You can connect through your server by using FTP account and then delete the other theme.

Let us know how it goes.
    Thanks!

    Hello There,

Thanks for providing the information. I did some investigation and I noticed that you are using PHP version 5.4.43 and WordPress 4.7 requires at least 7.0 (https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/). This could possibly be the cause of the issue which affects the loading of JS scripts. In most cases you cannot update your PHP version yourself and need to contact your host about this. The upgrade process is an easy process and should be something your host can do for you without affecting your website or charging you for it. Here’s a letter you can send to your hosting company:

    Dear host,

I\'m interested in running the open-source WordPress <https://wordpress.org/> web software and
I was wondering if my account supported the following:

    - PHP 7 or greater
    - MySQL 5.6 or greater
    - The mod_rewrite Apache module
    - HTTPS support

    Looking forward to your reply.

Hope this helps. Kindly let us know.

Thanks for all the help. I tried a bunch of different things including all the suggestions here. Updating the php seemed to do the trick.
    Much appreciated!
