KobberParticipantHi,
I have some issues with blurry images. The resolution is fine, and the images are tack sharp, but somehow they appear blurry on some pages.
Example 1) If you look at this page, the featured images seems blurry while the other two at the bottom seems fine.
Example 2) On this index page for references, the images in the promo blocks looks fine and sharp, but if you click to one of the reference pages – like this one, they look blurry.
All in all, it seems like it’s when I use the image block in Cornerstone. What do I do?

ChristianModeratorHey there,
I checked the images in these pages:
https://www.vesti-olsen.dk/opstart-cecilie-mariehjemmet/
https://www.vesti-olsen.dk/reference-broenshoej-skole/and they seem to look sharp.
Can you give us screenshots of how it looks on your end?
Thanks.

KobberParticipantI made a screenshot from the webpage, and then posted the original image next to it.

KobberParticipantOh… look at this video cature. Here you can see how the blog index reacts when hovering. The image moves a bit, and it shifts between blurry and sharp: http://www.filedropper.com/test3

LelyModeratorHi There,
Thank you for the screenshot. It is fine when I checked. I even check the source code and it’s correct. See this:http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbnt6l6rsM

KobberParticipantHi again,
Well I just found out that WordPress compress my images to hard. Therefore I would like to add this code to functions.php:
add_filter( ‘jpeg_quality’, create_function( ”, ‘return 100;’ ) );
– But I’m not sure where to paste it in the file?

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Because this requires a template change, I’d advise that you setup a child theme. This allows you to make code changes that won’t be overwritten when an X update is released. After your child theme is setup, please review how we recommend making template changes in Customization Best Practices.
Please connect to FTP and add functions under child them’s functions.php file.
Hope it helps.
