Majorly upset with Bluehost at the moment. Their support via website ticket has taken a severe nose-dive in the last few years. Anyway…
I originally was having trouble installing the ConvertPlug plugin until it was recommended that I have Bluehost upgrade my PHP version. After upgrading, there was still an error until someone replied with this…
“You had a custom php.ini there so the main one wasnt affecting it. I removed that and the code in the .htaccess called for 5.2 check now.”
This allowed me to install the plugin, but it completely disconnected Woocommerce from my staging site and now all staging links point to 404 pages on the live site. My Woocommerce files are still present in WordPress, but they can no longer be accessed via links within the site I’m building.
I am fearful of reinstalling Woocommerce and possibly having 2 months of work deleted and Bluehost has stopped responding.
So I turn to you, oh magnificent X support team. Because you always come through. Please tell me you know how to fix this.
PS. I also cannot access the latest version of ConvertPlug, even after deleting, clearing cache, and reinstalling.

As far as ConvertPlug is concerned, I can’t save any work. Another recent thread explained that a newer version of ConvertPlug was available and we had to delete version 1.1.1, clear cache, and reinstall.

I did this but still cannot get the newer version.
January 31, 2016 at 2:10 am #772711Hello There,
You already have the latest stable release of ConvertPlug which is version 1.1.1. We went ahead and created a test info bar in your site. We were able to save it and we did not encountered any issues at all. You can check it here (http://prntscr.com/9x426y) and it is currently live in your staging site.
Please let us know how it goes.
January 31, 2016 at 12:09 pm #773142Thank you for your patience. I appreciate the support, as always.
January 31, 2016 at 12:18 pm #773149Just thought I’d chime in here, as I use Bluest as well. I completely agree that BH has had a bit of fall from grace in recent years. I also had a minor issue yesterday, I chatted in, they were dealing with a server problem…That may have been what wreaked havoc on your site. Just thought I’d let you know.
Good Luck.
