I love this theme, you guys did a great job. I’ve purchased 6 or so copies and setup sites for clients.

But, why do you make it so difficult to edit my blog layout?
What’s the deal? Have you just ignored it? How can you have such a great product that completely ignores the original use of the platform?

I hate that I can’t control the blog styling from the customizer and I have to research some css rules in the forum to make simple changes.

    Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! Thank also for choosing X theme for your client sites. The blog layout is dependent on the theme’s design. Even with twenty sixteen theme, the blog index layout is very dependent on how the theme’s creator design the theme itself. There is no way you can edit the blog layout with Visual Composer or Cornerstone. This is one of the reason why you may need a little css to spice up the blog index. In X, we have a section in the customizer dedicated to change how would you want your blog index to look like. Having said that, all those settings in the customizer, Appearance > Customize > Blog still depends on the stacks and its blog design for each stacks in X.

    Hope this explains it briefly.
