    Hi there!

I got contacted today by a group that I put a site together for a few months ago, using X Renew. They’d spotted that the blog page on the site is not displaying on the default browser on phones with the Jelly Bean versions of Android. All you get is the background image, no menu bar or other content.

I’m guessing this may be beyond the scope of your support, but if you have any clues or pointers, I’d really appreciate it.

    The site is here:

    http://trojascenkonst.se

It’s the BLOGG and PODD pages that are affected.

I’ll post the login details on a private comment below.

    Hi there!

Thanks for looking into this! Curious to see that it’s working for you, as the problem still seems to be there for us.

I don’t have a device with Jelly Bean myself, but I’m using SauceLabs to test on 4.2. The original report came from a user with a Fairphone, which runs 4.2.2 – and it was confirmed by another user with a Fairphone.

As far as I can tell from trying different versions on SauceLabs, the problem is affecting 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 – i.e. the three Jelly Bean versions – when the site is viewed in the default browser. It’s working fine on other Android devices, which is why I hadn’t picked it up.

    Hi there,

Thanks for updating the thread! I tried to check on other mobile simulators, however, it seems we can’t access your site at the moment. Could you please check and see that it is up and loading. Thanks!

Thanks for trying to check – strange that you couldn’t access the site, though. It’s working fine now – and I haven’t had any downtime notifications, so if it was down, it can only have been briefly. Is it possible there was a problem with the simulator you were using?

    Hi There,

I am a different staff, which I have an android jelly bean. Upon looking at your site, It worked well.Probably the simulator has the problem. Simulator sometimes does not working well. It would be best to check it on a device.

Glad to hear that it is already okay.
