I am trying to get a blog page up and running on the site located at http://www.soundspectru.com/tunr, but for some reason the page will not load, rather it auto redirects to the “oops you blew up the internet” page whenever I click the “view” page link, or manually input the url.

The blog page I created is named “tunrnews”, created in the pages section of WordPress, and I made sure the “Post Page” in “Settings -> Reading” was set to my new page. Presumably, my blog posts should be showing up at: https://www.soundspectrum.com/tunr/index.php/tunrnews/

The test post I made is showing up fine and I am not having any trouble with any other pages that I have made: https://www.soundspectrum.com/tunr/index.php/soundspectrum-visual-poetry/

I am not 100% sure why, but before I started work on the site, the permalinks were set to a custom setting: /index.php/%postname%/ . When I tried to change this setting, other pages would end up breaking, so I left it alone.

Any help on this would be much appreciated. Thanks for your time.

    Hi there,

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Thanks.

Is there anything you can tell me without having the FTP credentials? Also, can the FTP credentials be read only permissions? I currently don’t have that level of permissions to give out, and I will need to discuss the issues with the owner of the site.

    Hi,

It looks like ssl/https was not set-up correctly.

You can try installing this third party plugin.

    WordPress Force HTTPS

    Hope that helps.
