SeagerParticipantHello, I have a strange problem on mobile devices with a blog. The first 2 posts have huge spacings between them, but others are fine. Also, when entering a post, it has a huge spacing on top as well. Can anyone help with this problem?
Also, someone gave me a direction here to add a header on a blog page, but I don’t quite understand how to do it.
https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/adding-content-under-the-blog-header-on-the-index-blog-page/#post-195690Is there no way to just add a section like a page? I just want to put a subscribe button with some text on the header.

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
I can’t see the space, please see the attachment. Please let us know if you are referring to another page.
Thanks.

SeagerParticipantIt’s on mobile devices that happen and not only in every case. For example, on iPhone 5 it happens on Chrome. On Samsung S7 it doesn’t happen on Chrome but it happens on the default browser.
Screenshots from the phone:
When you enter the site it’s like this. This huge spacing only happens on the first and second post, the rest is fine.

Here it’s inside the post. You can see that even in some paragraphs there’s this huge spacing. This is on the most recent post of the site. And just checked there is no extra spacing, nothing.

ChristianModeratorThe space is not caused by X but your Google Ad code. Please contact the third party code developer for support.
Thanks.

SeagerParticipantThank you. But why it doesn’t show on desktop as well this spacing?
About the banner question,

is it possible?

ChristianModeratorI’m not sure why it doesn’t display. Please contact the plugin developer.
The blog or index page could not be edited like a page. Template modification is required to add content. The instruction in the other thread won’t work in you case as you’re not using the breadcrumbs. You need to copy
wp-header.phpto your child theme and add your content there. You might want to contact our trusted partners who caters X setup and customization needs. Please see https://community.theme.co/custom-development/Thanks.

SeagerParticipantI have the _header.php there, but it’s already with google tag manager on it. I tried putting that code on the site but it wont work.

SeagerParticipantIf I activate the breadcrumbs, that should work then? Am I seeing this correctly?
March 13, 2017 at 11:34 am #1405094
ChristianModeratorYes, _LANDMARK-HEADER.PHP is the breadcrumbs area.
Thanks.

SeagerParticipantI’m sorry for the stubbornness, but I’m checking a work around this, and with a revolution slider, saw this post:
https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/problem-with-menu-at-smaller-resolutions/#post-25124
But the problem is that it duplicates the header. It creates another header on top as well.
EDIT: Nevermind. Managed. I’m an idiot. Was not putting on INTEGRITY FOLDER of the Child Theme. Stays here the “solution” if someone finds this problem as well. π
