RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! Do you have any mockup or example? We can check and tell you if that’s possible.
Cheers!

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for providing the information. It seems that you are using Post Grid. Please keep in mind that Post grid uses a grid template. In order to add the post meta or your so called blog lines, you’ll have to edit the grid template and add the date, author, categories etc from there. Please edit the page and go to Post Grid Settings > Item Design.

When you edit the Grid template, this is where you can add the post meta. Please check this out: http://prntscr.com/dkrg9j

chanleereynParticipantIs there a way to customize the name? Meaning, can I use an author that isn’t an admin for the site?
January 29, 2017 at 8:52 pm #1350180
LelyModeratorHi There,
Can you clarify which name you want to customize? If you’re referring to the grid template name, you may opt to create new one. Please also clarify what you meant by this: can I use an author that isn’t an admin for the site?
January 31, 2017 at 2:07 pm #1352699
chanleereynParticipantSure. I am adding bylines for blog posts. Meaning, on the blog post page, there is a name indicating who has written the blog. Currently, there is a little option to add an author. But the author options are members of website admin. Meaning the have credentials to sign in to the website admin area. I want to just write a name without providing the blog writer with credentials to sign in.

LelyModeratorHello There,
Basically the author you want to add is just a name you want to set for specific blog post and not the one who created the blog post, correct? In that case we can use Custom Field. When you modify grid template, and then add an element on the POST GRID> CHOOSE CUSTOM FIELD. See attached screenshot on how to add custom field. Once you added it already, we just need to select it on custom field dropdown on other post.
Hope this helps.
