Hi, whenever i click the create group button http://www.wayinkes.com/community/groups/create/ and buddy press forrums suggest that its a theme compatibility issue. Is that true? do other guyz using X theme get the same issue?
October 17, 2015 at 8:54 pm #629611Hi there,
Thanks for writing in! We will need to check on this one and see. X only adds a theme wrapper around Buddy Press so it should work fine. Would you mind providing us with more information on your steps and what you have tried so we can see if there is anything on our end. Also please provide login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff. Thanks! 🙂

Thanks for providing the information. As we have checked your site, we do not have any issue in visiting the create group page. http://prntscr.com/8z6jqp
Since you have installed a caching plugin W3 Total Cache, please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.
We also encourage to clear your browser or use Chrome’s incognito mode and test your site again. Please let us know how it goes.
November 5, 2015 at 4:49 pm #654391The screen shot you sent is exactly what i see in my browser. when i go to the create group page am redirected to my latest blog post but i dont get an option to add a group or add a group name. I had deactivated my caching pluggin when i did this.
How exactly do you create a page if you are redirected to a page that shows your latest post without anywhere to fill new group details?

November 8, 2015 at 4:27 pm #657285Hi there,
I mean, it’s displaying different page when you click create group. And I’m not sure where I can find that page that overrides your create group page. Please disable all possible plugins except buddypress plugin then let us know.
Thanks.
November 8, 2015 at 5:41 pm #657329I deleted that page before you sent me this screenshot. Lemme disable pluggins
November 8, 2015 at 9:56 pm #657551Hi there,
I’m not able to access it anymore, your site could have problem with permalinks or permission.
Could you try it locally or on different hosting?
Thanks.

November 19, 2015 at 10:54 pm #672372Hi,
Upon checking, I can see you have Buddypress version 2.4
Please note the the version of buddypress that is compatible with the theme is BuddyPress v2.3.3
Kindly downgrade your plugin to fix the issue.
