Hi, On page http://www.massivesmall.com
I can’t get my background video to display at all using slider revolution – I uploaded an mp4, made the slide transparent, but to no avail.
Please note that until monday 19th Jan 2015 developers will be working on a cloned version of this site – so ideally could you tell me how to fix it, rather than fixing yourself.
Thanks alot!
January 16, 2015 at 8:17 am #184431Hi Andrew,
Thanks for writing in!
Upon checking, the slider in your homepage isn’t having any background video. Would you mind providing us the URL of the page where you have added the slider with background video so that we can take a closer look?
Cheers!

January 23, 2015 at 4:46 am #189779Hey, I did already try setting the background of the slides to transparent, but it doesn’t work

I love to try it, but you mind providing the url of the video you’re using, I’d like to check it’s format? Or maybe provide the page url you’re testing with the video.
Your home page slide has solid images and video will not be visible. Maybe we can try it out on another page.
Thanks!
January 25, 2015 at 4:40 am #191072OK i’ve made a test page here:
http://www.massivesmall.com/test-video-page/
made a revolution slider with a transparent background, added video url that I hosted to the ‘below masthead’ area
Video url: http://www.massivesmall.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/hd1563.mp4
And still doesn’t work – i’m sure i’m just missing something small?
January 26, 2015 at 4:18 am #191595Hi there,
Please add the following CSS under Customize -> Custom -> CSS :
div#rev_slider_8_1_wrapper { background-color: transparent !important; }
Hope it helps.
January 28, 2015 at 4:57 pm #193855Hey ok the video on the ‘test page’ is working, but when I try and put one into the ‘below masthead’ part of the site it doesn’t show up – maybe it is related to the issue described by the other user above. How would I fix this? Thanks for your help.
January 29, 2015 at 1:49 pm #194577Hi there,
thanks for updating the post. Upon checking moving the slider to below masthead works just fine on my end. I have left it there for you to check out on the test video page. Please verify and let us know if you need more help, thanks!
January 30, 2015 at 6:09 pm #195671Yes it works on the test video page, but not on the home page.. I think that one slider is affecting the other.
There is another problem – the bandwidth usage for my site just jumped up to 50GB yesterday alone – due to that video slider, why is it so excessively high, do you know? The video isn’t that big after all…
January 30, 2015 at 6:09 pm #195672Just to let you know, I deleted the ‘starswipe’ video as it was causing the bandwidth issues, and that couldn’t have gone on any further, or it would have cost too much.
