Hello There,
Thank you for the admin credentials.
Youtube standards have change. It now requires playlist with Video ID for loop to work. And that is defining your Video ID two times. Please set this value to your youtube’s argument input under your slider’s Source Setting > Argument Youtube
&version=3&loop=1&playlist=VIDEO_ID
And change the video ID to your youtube’s ID.Hope this helps.
March 1, 2016 at 7:31 am #818395Hi there,
Thank for your help. I added the new parameters to the Argument section without removing the existing code and started using a shorter video. The video is now looping, however, there is a loading process in between each repetition (about 1 or 2 seconds), so it isn’t seamlessly. Do you know why that is? The same thing happens the first time the video plays, with the exception that you also see the “play” button for about 1 second. People will see that is loading at the beginning and every 6 seconds or so after that. How did you guys do the Integrity 1 sample? I’m also using a transparent image as background (10x10px).
Thanks again for your help!
Nick
March 1, 2016 at 8:20 am #818468Hi there,
Please remove video layer from your slide and add it as ‘optional background video’ under slider settings inside cornerstone.
Hope it helps.
March 1, 2016 at 9:03 am #818537Hi there,
It didn’t. Removing the slider from “Slider Settings: Above Masthead” simply takes the video away from the layout, along with the animated part of it. Adding just a link to the background video option does nothing. Maybe I didn’t understand correctly your instructions, but feel free to login and take a look.
Thanks again!
March 2, 2016 at 12:27 am #819566Hi there,
You don’t need to remove the slider itself, you just need to remove the video layer from the slider, and in order to show a background video like in our Integrity 1 demo, you need to add the direct video URL under Slider Settings: Above Masthead > Optional Background Video in your Cornerstone settings (see: http://prntscr.com/92at3o).
For more detail on how to add a background video, watch our video walkthrough on sliders.
Thank you!
March 2, 2016 at 7:29 am #820086Hi there,
Ok, so I made the video layer transparent thus removing the video. Then, I uploaded an .mp4 video as the tutorial suggests and copy the link inside the Optional Background Video field. Unfortunately, I still see a pause in between the videos. It goes dark and comes back again. What can I do to make it continuous? No pause in between?
Thanks!
March 2, 2016 at 9:32 am #820283You’re video has a fade to black transition at the end. X Video Backgrounds works fine. No issues.
Thanks.
April 10, 2016 at 5:06 pm #875610Hi- I am having a similar issue. My video is in vimeo in rev slider and it wont loop. I have followed the thread and tried suggestions and still nothing. Currently the video is 3 minutes long.
What should I do?
April 11, 2016 at 8:45 am #876426Hi there,
Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)
You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.
If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.
Thanks.
April 11, 2016 at 8:58 am #876461Hi there,
Each video hosting provider may have a different standard, the above one is for youtube. Though, I like to see what you’re getting with Vimeo. Would you mind providing your admin login credentials in private as well? If possible, please provide them in a separate thread while linking back here.
Thanks!

Thanks for writing back! I’ve checked your site and see the versions running of X, Cornerstone and Revolution Slider are quite a few behind.
There’s been multiple fixes and improvements in all of those, would you mind upgrading to the latest versions please? We can then continue getting Revolution Slider to work, thank you! 🙂
Also if you wouldn’t mind starting a new thread and in it include a link to this one, just if we need to reply privately with anything, only the original topic starter can see private replies.
Thanks!
April 12, 2016 at 9:36 am #878381Hi- it is not letting me validate my site. It keeps saying no site url provided every time i enter the license code- any ideas?
April 13, 2016 at 3:55 am #879622Hi Julia,
Have you assigned the license to your domain in your account here? If you go to your account from here https://community.theme.co/dashboard/, click account top right, then click manage licenses and make sure you have a domain assigned to the license, let us know if you have any problems. 🙂
Thank you!
