where do i get the background pattern that is used in the x preview, under ‘first of its kind’ around integrity, renew etc? it look light gray/white and has a criss cross pattern

We’re sorry but we don’t have distribution rights to the images in our sales page. But, there are lots of beautiful patterns in http://subtlepatterns.com/ for free.

It’s extremely misleading that on themeforest x, its says preview however its not really a review of the theme its your sales page. thats really dodgy guys, really disappointed.
in regards to the background pattern i found the exact same one so all good.

X Preview was meant to display the capability of X, and we can’t provide images that we don’t have rights to distribute. These preview were provided so user can compare the layout of what they wan’t to achieve. And demo contents were provided for that (except images).
If we will provide images and entitled for license, then it may add to the initial cost of the theme itself.

Those images were from different sources like stock photography, private photos, custom graphics, and etc. And I don’t have any list of specific source nor record of where they bought it.

Yes you can replace the images only. Some images may be subject to copyright so it’s better not to use on the website if you don’t have the license.

To my understanding we are not supposed to use any photos used in themeco demo. but we can use clipart images. Am i right?
Yes you are more than welcome to use clipart, open source images or your own images. Enjoy!
