wackynationParticipantOn one of my pages only I am wanting to have a full width image header across the top of the page like this http://symplectic.co.uk/services/.
I have be trying to do this using a background image, but as you can see on a large viewer most of the image is cut off http://wackynation.co.uk/wp3/?page_id=877
Is this normally achieved by using a background image and if so how please?

NicoModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in.
The background image won’t go full height unless you will add something on its body to cover however you could do it without any content to the column by simply adding height to show full height. To add height, just add it in your style box in your column.
Hope it helps.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.

wackynationParticipantTried adding ‘height: 250%;’ and tried ‘height: 100%; but this has made no difference. Any other ideas please or am I best to just use slider revolution?

wackynationParticipantGreat that has worked on that page. I have a similar problem with this page http://wackynation.co.uk/wp3/?page_id=23&cornerstone=1
I’ve used this method to make the background image look good but cannot get the header text to align in the bottom left corner without the background image size changing to. Any idea’s please?

wackynationParticipantTried this and it nearly works at full size though still not left aligned but when it resizes it goes off the page as per attachment. Any other ideas please?

LelyModeratorHi There,
On the style field of the headline where you add
position: absolute;please also add this:bottom: 2%;
Something like this:
position: absolute; bottom: 2%;
See this:http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbeDQE6BP9Hope this helps.

wackynationParticipantI copied and pasted this code exactly but for some reason it isn’t working like in your screen shot. The background image has shrunk in height and the custom headline also aligns to the right as per attachment

wackynationParticipantI’ve managed to get the background image size working with the custom header thanks, but I’d like the custom header to float more to the left so it starts underneath the little girl in the red. Is this possible or even a little bit more to the left if this is too far.
