Site: http://codeificant.com
WP version: 4.4.1
X version: 4.3.2
Cornerstone version: 1.1.0Hi,
First of all, let me say that I love the X theme. I’m having just one little problem with it. I loaded the Integrity 3 Demo as a starting point. But I can’t make any headway with the background image. Right now I see the man with the fedora. I edit the page and want to change the background image and it “doesn’t take.” If I change it, nothing shows up. If I delete the image, then the fedora man shows up again. I’m stumped.
Regards,
–G

Thank you for writing back and your kind words! 🙂 We’re glad that you are enjoying working with X.
#1: No, the setting we are pointing at is located in Cornerstone page settings (see: http://prntscr.com/9xxt4h).
#2: That’s right. 🙂
As for your other site, I’ve checked it and the issue that duration of the background image is not defined (see: http://prntscr.com/9xxtq6). I checked your Cornerstone page settings but the duration was defined there. I’ve tried changing the value but it’s not working. As it’s working in my local setup with same version of X and Cornerstone, I assume the problem is specific to your setup. In this case, could you try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
If that doesn’t help, please provide us with your FTP credentials so we can take a closer look to the issue. Don’t forget to select Set as private reply to ensure your data remains hidden from other users.
Thanks!

Thanks for the credentials. The background image is there, but it is behind of a white body background. To address this issue you can add this under Custom > CSS in the Customizer.
body .site {background-color: transparent;}
Hope it helps, Cheers!
