Hi,
I’m using multiple background images to create a slideshow effect on my homepage. I really like the way it look with the topbar set to transparent. I need to add text over the images and you all suggested that I use revolution slider to do this. I was able to make this work, sort of. The problem is that revolution slider and the background image slideshow are out of sync. Try as I might to sync them up, they always fall out of sync after a few minutes. Any suggestions for something else I can use?
Thanks,
Nathan

Under your slider general setting, could you set your delay into 10000 ?
Your slider delay should match your background delay which is 10000.
Hope this helps.

May 31, 2014 at 6:10 pm #50727Hi Nathan,
How about layer delay like this http://awesomescreenshot.com/0c52wi6j3c ?
Currently, your setup was 300.
Let me know.

im having some trouble with the Rev Slider, i want to add about 5 photos that transition from one to the next.at the moment ive added 2 images on the slider called mainslide, but when i preview it only ends up showing the one image and the other never appears. What am i doing wrong, i know its something really simple but just can figure it out!

Thank you for writing in!
Upon checking, you have enabled the “Stop Slider” from slider’s General Settings (see: http://prntscr.com/4pj72g).
Simply change Stop Slider to Off. You can also adjust the delay as shown in the above screenshot.
Hope this helps. 🙂
Thank you.
September 23, 2014 at 7:56 am #110535Also please make sure you update your theme. Your X is currently at 1.7.3 which is fairly old, X is currently at 2.5.1. This will help with rev slider and also help with shortcodes and general stability of the theme.
You can download latest X from ThemeForest
This update guide is also helpful highlighting steps to accomplish the update -> http://theme.co/x/member/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/
Let us know how it works out after the update.
Cheers
September 23, 2014 at 3:13 pm #110925it worked! Thank you. How can i keep the text showing at all times and just have images transitioning from one to another in the background?
September 23, 2014 at 5:27 pm #111036We’re glad it worked, you can use the same text for all the slides if you want it to be there with each slide.
