Hi, I have a section in Cornerstone that has a background-image.
I want one of the columns to have a transparent background-color but also blur it, as seen here
http://jordanhollinger.com/2014/01/29/css-gaussian-blur-behind-a-translucent-box/Is it possible?
ThanksNovember 4, 2015 at 4:00 pm #652858Hi there,
Yes it is possible through Custom CSS. We can help you with the code but kindly provide us with the link to your site. Thank you.

Thanks for writing back, and sorry for the confusion!
I’ve checked your site and it seems you are adding the color directly to your column background. The blur effect you want to achieve cannot be applied to the column as it will also take effect on the elements inside the column, like this: http://prntscr.com/8zdgar. This effect needs to be applied to another element that is set to be displayed as a background of column. This could technically be possible with custom development, but regretfully would be outside the scope of support we can provide. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
Thanks for understanding. Take care!
