I’m attempting to import demo content and am confused at one part of your instructional video regarding Assigning Authors in WordPress (tools, import). These are my two questions:
1. I was going to choose “or assign posts to an existing user”. The drop-down menu only has one choice that says, [email protected]. Do I select that? Your video also mentioned choosing “admin” although I don’t see that as an option.
2. Do I make a selection for both item 1. and item 2. below? If so, please advise.
The screen in wordpress looks something like this:
Assign Authors
To make it easier for you to edit and save the imported content, you may want to reassign the author of the imported item to an existing user of this site. For example, you may want to import all the entries as admins entries.
If a new user is created by WordPress, a new password will be randomly generated and the new user’s role will be set as subscriber. Manually changing the new user’s details will be necessary.Import author: pzim8tryAj9WETe7p3Un (pzim8tryAj9WETe7p3Un)

Thank you for writing in!
1. You could assign it to your account, or any author. Admin user us just our sample.
2. Import on existing user, don’t create new users.Hope this helps 🙂

Not Found
The requested URL /wp-admin/admin.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

There is one possible reason but I like to confirm it first.
Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentialsDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
