Hi
I am trying to use Email Forms but it will not accept my MailChimp api. I add it and it keeps saying “Your site is not yet linked to your MailChimp account”
My website is http://www.fitloans.com.au
I have tried the API with the mailchimp plugin and it works so not sure why it doesn’t work under the email forms extension.
Can you please help me?
Thanks

Please disable all third party plugin momentarily. For your caching plugin, please clear your cache first before deactivating.
Thanks.
July 5, 2015 at 11:18 am #321487I have deactivated all the plugins except conerstone and deleted the cache as requested. I tried to reactivate the email forms plugin to see if it would accept the api but it wouldn’t.
My webpage is looking terrible without the plugins so could you please help resolving this issue asap. I am going to bed now as it is 2am but I will need to reactivate the plugins as soon as I wake up. You have the log in details so you are welcome to do whatever you like to the webpage to get it working right because my target audience would be sleeping at the moment.
thanks
July 5, 2015 at 1:01 pm #321554Hi There,
I enabled important plugins in your site so that it would not look terrible.
In regards to your API-key problem, Please make sure that your site’s firewall is not blocking the mailchimp and also make sure that you have enable CURL on your hosting environment. You can contact your hosting provider and open a support ticket and ask them to allow connection for https://api.mailchimp.com/2.0
If you’re still having issues, try implementing the following solution (https://theme.co/x/member/forums/topic/mailchimp-api-not-registering/#post-219971).
Let us know how it goes. Hope it helps.
Thanks.
July 6, 2015 at 2:45 am #321942Hi it had nothing to do with hosting from what I was told but the solution on that link worked so not sure what that indicates was the issue.
Thanks for the help.
