heidibadaParticipantIn X Addons, nothing is in the demo install drop-down list. I try the ‘exit door’ to see demo content and that also doesn’t work; it just opens another browser tab, sometimes empty and sometimes a duplicate of my wordpress admin page. What’s wrong here? Is there no way to install demo content?
My webpage is hanging with nothing but a partially functioning home page, since my existing home page was made with a different theme and its content builder tools, which has resulted in pages that won’t load properly with X theme. Need help asap. Again the weekend is here and I can’t create my pages. I want to move my old page content into new pages, so that the formatting will work with X theme. I want to use one of the demos to set up the structure of my new pages.

heidibadaParticipantHere’s attachments that are screenshots of what I see when i try to select a demo to upload. Nothing in the demo drop-down list is clickable.

heidibadaParticipantI also can’t install Extensions using the X Addons page. I already owned Slider Revolution, and I’m not sure Cornerstone got installed. Slider Revolution never worked well with previous sites but I guess I still had it installed under my previous theme. I want to enable Google Analytics at least, and Contact Form 7. I already have plugins for these abilities, so I disabled them soon after realizing they might conflict with X theme. What should I do??! When I click “install” in the X Addons page, nothing happens, just like the demo content area.

LelyModeratorHi There,
I am getting this error when I tried to activate X theme:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'undefined' of undefined at s (x-addons-home.min.js:1) at i (x-addons-home.min.js:1) at HTMLDivElement.<anonymous> (x-addons-home.min.js:1) at HTMLDivElement.<anonymous> (tco.js:83) at Function.each (load-scripts.php:2) at a.fn.init.each (load-scripts.php:2) at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (tco.js:65) at i (load-scripts.php:2) at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (load-scripts.php:2) at Function.ready (load-scripts.php:2)You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
* I put it back to avada.
Do let us know how this goes.

heidibadaParticipantRegarding plugins, I get the same lack of demos whether I turn off all my plugins or not. That was the first thing I tried, when I first discovered demos weren’t available after my installation, and a few times since as well. I get exactly the same results – no demos in the drop-down list on the X Addons page.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for updating in! We could not check your site thoroughly because it is live. Could you please put it under maintenance mode so that we can investigate further why the demos is not displaying anything. Or maybe, you can create a staging site. This is very useful because we can test drive any X updates in the staging area, do the customizations and troubleshooting without disrupting your live site. Once everything is perfect, you can easily and flawlessly proceed the update in the live site. To know how to create a staging area, please check out these articles:
