    hello, there!

    after the automatic update to x 4.4.1 this noon i am encountering a problem with the plugin from visual bakery which won’t let itself be updated.

    upon the unsuccessful update routine a modal window appears displaying a message that in order to be updated automatically the plugin requires license activation.

    i can’t troubleshoot that issue on my own, so your help is greatly appreciated!

    if someone of the staff would like to take a look at my ftp-server’s file structure and – contents, please private message me so i can provide you with all the data necessary to access the webspace…

    Hi Werner,

    Thanks for writing in! You can update to the latest version of VC if you do have a license from WPBakery. But the latest VC that is supported by X|Theme is v4.9.2. If you do have that version of VC please dismiss the VC update notice.

    Since the VC you have is bundled with the X|Theme, you don’t need to register. The plugin functions 100% without license registration.

    So rather than updating directly via the Plugin developers automatic updater, that update is included in a X update.

    so further updates of x won#t contain updates to vc any longer, since vc stays at its latest stage 4.9.2 within the x-bundle?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for updating. Surely you will get the updated versions of our packaged plugin. As we need to test and fix the compatibility so it will take some time to package the latest version. Just wait for some days.
